I am a Licensed Professional Counselor working in private practice (MO license #2018011907). I have experience working with adults, adolescents, and couples. I offer both in-person sessions and remote video-sessions.
I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from University of Houston- Clear Lake. As part of my diverse backgound, I also earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis.
In addition to research internships, I completed a graduate clinical internship at the University of Texas-Harris County Psychiatric Center. While there, I provided individual & group therapy as well as assessment & testing services to an inpatient population. During graduate school, I also volunteered at the Houston Area Women’s Center as a counselor for survivors of domestic and sexual violence, where I became very passionate about helping those populations.
I currently work in private practice where I have been able to pursue my passion for working with the LGBTQIA+ community. I am also a therapist at a nonprofit agency that serves victims and survivors of domestic violence. I consider myself to be a curious person and a lifelong learner. I regularly attend seminars and research theories to expand my knowledge and therapy skills.
“Effective psychotherapy works because the therapist continues to grow as a person and as a healer.” – Jed Diamond
